The Co-ordinator of www.australiaforall.com was invited to facilitate a workshop at the ENAT International conference “Tourism for All’ held in Valencia, Spain during November 2007, which conference was sponsored by the European Commission.     As a result of her very successful workshop it has become very clear to the management committee of Australia For All Alliance Inc, that the lack of accessible accommodation and tourism venues is a global phenomenon.

The Management Committee of Australia For All Alliance Inc has therefore decided to expand its Australia-wide web site to include details of International accessible accommodation and tourism venues.

However we have to emphasise that to apply a strict standard covering accessible requirement to participants/advertisers in this section of the web site would be difficult, as there is no common denominator, especially in Europe, to allow us to request this compliance.   Where a criteria icon is displayed, this indicates only the criteria level we have been advised is applicable to the venue in the country/region.
