The Acropolis of Athens is an archaeological site perched atop an impressive rock in the center of Ancient Athens, and it's the most visited monument in Greece today. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site.  Access for people with a disability at the Acropolis is available. A lift has been installed on the northern face of the rock in order to accommodate visitors with special needs who cannot climb the rocky steps to the ancient site. Call 210 3214172-3 for info and to find out if the lift is operational.

Sailing is one of the very few sports in which able-bodied sailors and disabled sailors can participate on equal terms and our objective is to give people who think they can’t even get on a boat, let alone sail one, the chance to achieve the exhilaration of being on the water in the safe, warm, calm conditions of the Pagasitikos Gulf.
