This venue provides activities that would be considered adventurous but provides the right for people with disabilities to engage in these activities if they so desire. RIO DE JANEIRO - Corcovado Rack Railway

The railway is over a century old, as it opened in 1884. Traveling by electrified train thru the worlds largest urban forest is an adventure itself. At  the base escalators have replaced the 220 steps once required to access the viewing area. At the base is a chapel accommodating over 100 people and a small souvenir shop. But it’s the viewing area which attracts the masses.  The view is spectacular. On a clear day a 360 degree panorama of the entire city, the beaches, the forest, mountains, Favelas and picturesque sunsets, Maracana Stadium, Rio Niteroi Bridge, the Jockey Club, Botanic Garden and more.

RIO DE JANEIRO - Sugarloaf Mountain

Sugarloaf Mountain  is a peak situated in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, rising 396 metres  above the harbor. The . A glass-paneled cable car capable of holding 65 passengers, runs along a 1400-metre route between the peaks.  To reach the summit, passengers take two cable cars. The first ascends to the shorter Morro de Açúcar, 220 meters high. The second car ascends to Pão de Açúcar. The bubble-shaped cars, which are accessible to tourists with mobility impairments, offer passengers a 360-degree views of the surrounding city.

IGUAZU RIVER - Iguazu Falls

The Iguazu Falls are the waterfalls of the Iguazu River located on the border of  Brazil and Argentina.  The first European to find the falls was the Spanish Conquistador Alvar Nunez Cabeza de Vaca in 1541.   The falls are 269 ft high and divide the river into the upper and lower Iguazu.  The upper circuits are accessible to tourists in wheelchairs.   On the Brazilian side there is a long walkway along the canyon with an extension to the lower base of the Devil's Throat.  Access to the Argentine side is facilitated by the Rainforest Ecological Train, which connects to various walkways
